A LITTLE LESS BACK-AND-FORTH

Find a time together.

When We Are Free is a free scheduling poll for up to 30 people. Choose possible dates, share a link and see when your group is free. Nobody needs an account.

Plan a catch-up, a swim, a meeting or a day out without another round of messages asking when everyone is available.

Create a free poll

Choose dates and create your poll

Give the poll a name, add your own name and select the dates you want to propose. Use Days for whole days, or Hours, 10 mins and 5 mins to paint more precise availability.

For a timed poll, set the event length: a one-hour meeting needs a continuous hour when people are free. In More options, check the poll timezone, choose who can see responses and set an expiry of seven or 30 days.

Share one link and paint your availability

Send the poll link to your group. Each person adds their name, chooses a spray can, taps or drags over the calendar and submits their availability. The limit of 30 people includes the organiser.

✓ Free
A time that works for you.
2 Second choice
A time you can make, but would prefer another.
? Maybe
A time you are not sure about yet.
× Unavailable
A time you cannot make. Unpainted times also count as unavailable when you submit.

Remove date has a different purpose: before you create a day poll, it removes a proposed date entirely. Unavailable keeps the date and records that you cannot attend.

Compare responses and confirm a time

Our freedom shows the group's overlap. For timed events, suggested matches account for the whole event length. The organiser chooses and confirms a time, then everyone can download a calendar invitation.

Confirmation closes the poll for changes. The organiser can reopen it if plans change.

A few useful details

Can I change my availability later?

Yes, while the poll is open. Your browser remembers editing access. Save your private edit code or edit link so you can return from another device. Keep the organiser link private too: it controls the poll.

Who can see the responses?

By default, anyone with the poll link can see participant names and availability. Choose organiser-only results in More options to limit access to everyone's responses. Poll pages are excluded from search indexing, but this does not make a shared link secret.

What happens when a poll expires?

Guests can no longer open or respond to it. Expiry does not delete stored records: the organiser can still review or permanently delete the poll.

How do I undo a selection?

Use the calendar's Undo button, Command–Z on Mac or Ctrl–Z on Windows. A whole drag is one undo step. When you are typing in a field, the keyboard shortcut edits your text as usual.

Can I use it on my phone or with a keyboard?

Yes. Tap or drag to paint on a phone; switch to Navigate to swipe through the calendar. With a keyboard, use arrow keys to move between tiles and Space to paint. You can pause the scene using Pause motion.

A little time together starts with a few possibilities.
